  • The City and the General Contractor – ELCOR Inc. will be holding a neighborhood meeting WITH YEAR ONE RESIDENTS (see map) on Wednesday, May 27that the Civic Center at 6pm. We will have the place set up so that we abide by the social distancing guidelines. This meeting will be very beneficial to you as we explain what to expect during the project and we hope you can make it! Year two residents will most likely experience utility work in their front yard/right of way this summer. We will update you thru email as we know more from the utility companies. This shouldn’t interfere with access to your

  • Grubbing and clearing of trees has already
  • During the Year 1 project, everyone will need to be set up with temporary water. This work involves having to enter each home. Due to the current COVID – 19 guidelines, the contractor’s representative Scott Howard will have gloves/face mask. Scott will be contacting each of you to make arrangements for this work to be done. If any of you are uncomfortable with Scott entering your home, please give us a call at city hall. The only other alternative is to have Scott walk you thru this process on the phone, which can be on the difficult side but we will make every effort to help you
  • Milling of current pavement – scheduled to start Thursday – May 28,
  • Mobilization of equipment and materials onto the site with the storage  site  location  mainly being in the Florence Park parking areas & additional survey and utility marking may begin as early as this week- May 18 – 22th and will continue into the next few weeks.
  • We encourage .fill project property owners to submit an e-mail address, along with your phone number to city hall as soon as possible. Please submit this to ljacobs@stewartvillemn.com Our Public Works Director Sean Hale, will be sending emails to update you on the project  in order to keep you informed  of what  is happening.  If  you don’t have  email  and want  to submit a family member or friend’s or make arrangements with your neighbor to get the information, please feel free to do this!
