Posted on December 29, 2016 at 10:29 amThe City of Stewartville is asking parents to prevent their kids from playing in the snow near the streets. Kids often like to build snow forts and tunnels in the boulevard near the curb. It can be very difficult for snow plow drivers to see them. Additionally, snow removal operations could weaken the structure of the snow bank, increasing the possiblity of a cave-in. We are asking neighbors to keep a watch out as well, and spread the word to keep our children safe!
