Stewartville’s Leaf Pickup Program will start tomorrow!!!!
Description of Program for New Residents: Rake your leaves into the City street & Stewartville will pick them up. Please remember to keep the leaves away from the Storm Water Drains.

New Neighborhood Playground

We are excited to announce the new neighborhood playground located at Rolling Ridge Subdivision!!! (Behind Fareway) Feedback from the kids has been super positive…loving the slides and rock climbing features! Thank you to the Schumann Trust for donating the land. Parks Open May 15th

Parks OPEN May 15th!! Tennis and pickleball nets will be installed this week!! The road to enter Bear Cave Park will continue to be closed until the road is firm enough to drive on. Water is not available yet to the parks; due to the below freezing temps at night, and with open aired bathrooms we need to wait until the weather permits. THINK SPRING!!

Keep Catch Bains Clear of Debris

Kindly note, with storms predicted in the coming months it’s important to keep our catch basins clear of leaves, debris and litter. Catch basins are designed to help reduce flooding and improve water quality of nearby surfaces. An often overlooked piece of street infrastructure, catch basins play a critical role in removing excess rainwater. With your help we can keep our catch basins clear, our water bodies clean, and our neighborhoods vibrant places to live, work and play!

Archery Range Open

Did you know archery is one of the oldest arts still practiced today? Modern advancements in the equipment mean this sport is even more accessible to archers of any age. Grab your bow and arrows and come and give it a try at Stewartville Bear Cave Park, south of the old archery range. Stationary ranges offer targets at a variety of distances. **Many more updates will continue through Spring**

Donations for New Skateboard Park

Donations are being gathered for a new skate board park! Having an up to date, thoroughly built skate park will ensure it is well respected and maintained. And most of all, SAFE! To help donate at City Hall. Check out the pictures below!

Grand Gardens

Grand Gardens in honor of Jahns Family Memorial is completed at Bear Cave Park! There will be an assortment of colorful perennials that will attract butterflies and natural wildlife. It will be a wonderful site for many years to come!
