Stewartville’s Leaf Pickup Program is happening Now!
Description of Program for New Residents: Rake your leaves into the City street & Stewartville will pick them up. Please remember to keep them away from the Storm Water Drains.

NO Parking Zone – S. Side of 6th Street SE between 5th – 7th Ave SE

As of  (October 29, 2019) – Please do not park along the south side of 6th Street SE across from Bonner, between 5th Ave to 7th Ave, as this will now be designated as a “No Parking ” zone. The previous parking lane will now become a passing lane available on the far south side of 6th Street SE. By designating this area as a passing lane, local residents should now have unfettered access to their homes during our morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups from Bonner School.

Hearing Aid Doctor ups the volume on conversations for life—Hear, hear!

Mark Rother, Hearing Instrument Specialist, had witnessed the need for hearing evaluations and the need to help people hear better during his years repairing hearing aids for manufacturers; in response, he established the Hearing Aid Doctor in 1994 and opened the physical office in Stewartville in 1996. At the time, he and his wife, Jodi Rother, lived in Burnsville, and Mark commuted once or twice per week until business picked up.

Makin’ Waves Receives August Business Appreciation Award

Heather Jech, Owner and Hair Artist, does cuts, colors, waxing, perms, updos, and other styles, usually on Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Makin’ Waves, located at 200 N. Main St. in Stewartville since 2012.

I-90 & HIGHWAY 63 INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENTS

During the 2020 and 2021, MnDOT will make interchange improvements to the I-90 and Highway 63 interchange north of Stewartville. A public information session will be held on August 13th from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Stewartville Civic Center. Please join MnDOT to learn more about the project, including the several stages of construction, detours and timeline. This project includes the replacement of the Highway 63 bridges, safety and vehicle capacity improvements, ramp changes and traffic operations within the corridor.
